6 Degrees S01E03: Separation Anxiety

Zoe meets up with her boyfriend Takeo at Boa Boa Cafe, the best place for specialty caffeinated beverages, boba-milk tea, and decorative pastries and sweets.

Zoe: This is where my aunt got those scones we had Saturday. You should try one! They are the best thing ever!

Takeo: The best thing ever, huh? Well, in that case I’ll try one.

6 Degrees S01E02: Emotional Rollercoaster

Ellen, Victor, and Zoe arrive at Ellen's apartment later that day.
Ellen: So, here we are.
Zoe: Oh wow, your apartment looks very homey! Mine barely has any furniture in it, and I’ve been living there for 6 months!
Ellen: Why don’t you have furniture?
Zoe: I’m a writer for Style Lux magazine, so I travel to fashion events a lot. I’m hardly ever home, and when I am in town, I’m usually staying with my aunt.
Ellen: Oh cool! Do you get to meet a lot of celebrities?
Zoe: Umm, well, no. I mean not yet! I’m only a junior writer, so most of the stuff I cover isn’t all that great, but I did get a chance to go to New York Fashion week! And I met Francesca Vilaro, the president of Style Lux, and when she found out I was a writer for her magazine, she let me hang out with her during the fashion awards!
Ellen: Seriously!? You met Francesca Vilaro!!! Is she as gorgeous in person as she is on TV? I heard she’s been gaining a ton of weight though.
Zoe: OMG, she is gorgeous! And she knows everyone ever!! When I saw her she was thin, but my boss says she has gained weight since then. She’s so high up, most of the staff never see her in person. She seemed very nice, though.
Ellen: I heard she nice to most people, but the people who work under her know better than miss a deadline. Did you meet Eva Ramirez too?
Zoe: No, I don’t think she was there. But then again I heard there has been bad blood between her and Francesca since she left Style Lux to join Chic Chic magazine.
Ellen: “'Cause baby now we got bad blood, you know it used to be mad love”

6 Degrees S01E01: First Impressions

Kira: Zoe-chan, didn’t you wear that same outfit last week?

Zoe: Yes, but it’s my favorite outfit and I wanted to make a good first impression, so I’m wearing it again! Okasan did you make these scones? They look great!

Kira: Zoe-chan, you know better than ask a question like that. I ordered them from the new cafe downtown.

Zoe: But now that you’re getting married, don’t you think you should learn how to cook.

Hey, hey! It's been like forever since I was here, well actually it's been only since last March, but it does feel like forever.

I was tempted to delete this blog for good last week, but something held me back, and now I know what that something was: my intuition! I've never been a very intuitive person, or had much in the way of foresight, but life is a great teacher, and I've been learning to not be so impulsive and give ideas time to settle and all.  That being said, instead of deleting this blog, I am going to devote it to my doll photostories. I know a lot of other people who create photostories do the same, and it seems to work out well, so I thought I would give it it a shot.

I have two stories in the works. The first is 6 Degrees. If you follow me on Flickr, you know that I already have two episodes up. The first couple of episodes are about Kira and her niece, but I've decided I want this series to focus mainly on a group of young people as they deal with finding their way in the world, and dealing with adult things, a struggle that I can completely relate to.

The second series is American Royalty. This series focuses on the lives of the rich and famous. The main characters will be socialite Diana and her corporate executive husband Liam. Some of my all time favorite dolls will be featured in this series, so I'm sure I will have a ton of fun with this series. Expect a lot of drama, chaos, and eccentric behavior!

Originally, I had planned to have only one series, but then I realized that there were actually two distinct story lines, so I decided to separate them. However, there will be some crossover between the two stories, both characters and plots.

I'll be reorganizing the blog and post tags/labels, so if anyone is still actually reading this blog and notices things have changed, this is why. I'll also be adding the first two episodes of 6 Degrees here, and then deleting the pictures from Flickr.

Since this blog is going to be for my photostories, I've decided that my main blog, Femme Noblesse Oblige, will be for all other lifestyle and doll related posts.

So this is the plan. We'll see how things go! I hope you all enjoy the photo stories!
